You make this sounds like playground stuff...

What the hell does size have to do with it?

Anyway... way bigger? in revenue they are tied... in profits LG wins... in assets Sony is just 2 times bigger and in market cap 4 times bigger (in large part due to assets - buildings etc)

Assets are a misleading because Sony has its financial arm. A lot of these assets are untouchable because they are used to back securities.



Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

I guess it all boils down to what exactly Sony stole from LG. They mention something to do with Blu-Ray.

So if that is on every PS3 ever sold that is going to be some serious cash being handed over to LG.

That is of course if they win. It depends on how serious they are, judging it on this action have to say they sound pretty serious!

Has that ever happened with a games console before?

sony sued first, so isn't it more like LG is hitting back hard?

lg is a great company that makes great products, also is second largest tv manufacturs in the world, and if i'm not wrong i believe lg had more profits in their division than sony this year.

Their TV's are inferior to Sony's and one of their CD drives thrashed a disc of mine. Not to mention the fact that Sony NEC drives exceed theirs in quality by leaps and margins.

If you want great and very affordable products, buy Samsung/Sharp.
