It's finally happened. 3 good years of service, this 60 Gig's given me. I'm in the middle of a financial self-boycott, refusing to buy anything for 4 months to save up for some tickets for my relatives, so I can't afford a new Ps3.
Anyone know any good guides for the YLOD? I'm currently looking at gilksy's guide, but I hear something about some reballing method that is more permanent.
PS: I was on the part where Sev and Rico's transport crashes onto the snow level. The screen turned black ready for the cutscene, and my Ps3 suddenly blinked off. My heart sank like the titanic when I tried restarting it and saw a small little yellow light flash in my face.
