That's right the very first Killzone. I mean sony has God of War 1 and 2 on the psn so why not this? I would scoop this up right away if they put this on the psn.

Because Killzone is way too bad-ass to be downloadable.

Last gen i was an xbox gamer and never cared for this game :P. Tides have changed since i moved to the side with giant enemy crabs. 

Oh i think they have to change some code to make it compatible and also God of War 1 & 2 were recoded giving them HD treatment for PS3. 

Well GOD of WAR and GD of WAR 2 were HD remastered Versions for PS3 and not the PS2 Original Versions if KILLZONE is a PS2 Game and not cmpaable with PS3 because of no B/C on some of the PS3 Fats models and on all PS3 Slims SONY would have to to an HD remastered Version for PS3 to be able rerelease it.  

maybe because it has online, which would require a more substantial effort to make it work on the PS3 then the other HD remakes.

So did Halo 2, but it had its online cut.

I think they don't want to release it because it was critically a failiure and was buggy as hell.

Speaking of which, I did play it today, and while loading granades into the ISA rifle after picking them up, the rifle was still firing straight while its barrel was in something like the 145 degree direction.

Needless to say, I lol'd. And I even managed to kill the bot.

that game would need a complete overhaul, i would rather a remake using the KZ3 engine just to make the first game relavent to the series

Because it's not a classic !!! The first Killzone was horrible ( IMO )
