As most on here know I'm a big supporter of the 360, and its games library. I'm a fan of Kinect and most stuff they've put out this generation but the question has to be asked. What on Earth is MS first party doing?

Even the big exclusives that MS is receiving like Gears of War and Codename Kingdoms are from 3rd party developers. Same thing with games like Alan Wake. Last year Bungie confirmed they are moving to multiplatform development and outside of hiring staff for 343 Industries to fill the loss of Bungie on Halo MS hasn't been adding virtually any studios to the first party.

So besides Rare pumping out Kinect titles what is the 1st party of MS doing?

Does Microsoft even have first party.....? I honestly dont know... Imm google it...

Dude I only think they are pissing off people who own the 360 PS3 duo. For others, they probably could care less if Microsoft makes first party games because third parties are still coming out with very popular games. Most people will be satisfied by this .

Just be careful about complaining about Microsoft because some people think if you complain you must hate kinect and therefore you must hate Microsoft.

Not true, when you complain you show you care by saying a company has to satisfy me to get my money and not anyone else.

Probably a boatload of Kinect shovelware. Kinect Joy Ride is just abysmality in a little box of fail.

No one on this site will jump on me and think I'm hating on Kinect or MS.  I'm one of the biggest 360 supporters on the website, just a balanced one who also loves my PS3 as well.

Regardless of how much content the 3rd parties are putting out, which is impressive and most do sell better on 360 anyways, its still rediculous when right now we have only A SINGLE confirmed largescale 1st party exclusive releasing from a console holder.  Forza 4 is the only thing coming out of MS 1st party this year that we know of thats not some kind of Kinect thing and that is very worrysome.

I'm scared to think about it but perhaps they really are preparing the launch of a new console (which would of course support Kinect). Then again Microsoft doesn't have a lot of 1st party developers so perhaps it can simply be explained by the fact that we've had Fable 3 and Reach last year and Forza 4 is coming this year. The only other Microsoft studios I know of worked on Kinect stuff.

True, but in my opinion its not a new console coming, thats still far off i think.  Probably 2 years.  I think your second point is the more correct one, their 1st party is just too freaking small.  They need to expand and focus on more things than just Kinect, to me its a mistake only focusing on that cause it limits the consumers.
