Kinect Adventures had an increase from last week?

Whats with the big console sales in the UK?

So is there any particular reason software overall is way up?  I know Black Ops was on sale, but almost every game that has been out for a while got a big boost this week.  Each console had a 20% or greater increase week over week in software sales.

Is this a sign that past weeks are going to be adjusted, or is this compensation for them?

I noticed that too. How long has it been since Black Ops was $2 and selling 50k or so?

I'm more surprised aout Forza Motorsport 3. About half the sales of GT5 despite it being a year older, and a lesser known brand in EMEAA. GT5's release made a lot of comparisions between the two games and boosted Forza 3's sales noticably. I hope Forza 4 sells well in EMEAA.

I see it all being very close this week WW, i.e. only 15-20k between all 3 home consoles...the way it should be 

Allow me to answer this question, and also the people asking why SW sales are way up.

There are a couple of reasons:

• This week, and next, Tesco has cut 20% off EVERYTHING video game related. Consoles, SW, memory cards, points cards, accessories... I know I bought a couple of games because of this!
• The 3DS has been the focal point of many gaming retailers here. So a lot of consoles are getting price cuts/bundles (for example, you can get a Wii, Wiimote, Nunchuck, MKWii and 4 wheels for only #99, that's about 35% off compared to last week!)
• Gaming stores are in a sales period, slashingprices everywhere
• Advertisements have been steep this week for older games.

Or, of course, it's just adjustments

It took almost 4 years but you have surely claimed the crown that you were the heir to PS3! (on a weekly level anyway trololol)

Apart from this the other surprise to me this week is how close Xbox 360 is continuing to stay to Wii in EMEAA and PS3 doing better than Wii in UK.

Either way combined PS360 sales are through the roof in the region, 3rd party devs must be seeing them as a huge market that can be catered to.

Of course can't wait for 3DS to come and tear up the charts in 1 month, but for this 1 month I wanna say sony domination!
