Seems gamestops around here don't even stock it for Wii, just PS3/360. I asked and got the "not sure if it's coming out for Wii" answer. Oh well, gamestop strikes again.

...wut

You should punch them in the face and tell them that they're idiots/uninformed

I mean, in all honesty,  company whch stocks games SHOULD know whether or not the game is out on which platforms...

*facepalm*

Well, the Wii version sold around 5,500, the PS3 version around 1,200 and the 360 version around 800.

So it hasn't really lit up any sales pages sadly.

Sad news for Blue Tongue. All that promotion for the 360 version, and it didn't sell shit.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Ironically the only version that I have seen around stores is the 360 one... and it seems to be at all stores. 2 options either the others are selling much better or most seem to be pushing the 360... i dunno

Indeed.

Proves that the 360 audience don't care about great games unless it contains guns or is a generic clone

(Joke, guys ¬.¬)

Weird.

I've seen the Wii version here in the UK but no advertising AT ALL. It's down to £20 already in Tesco.

Maybe they expected the 360 version to sell best so ordered the most copies? Dunno.

But I don't expect the 360 version to get much above 15-20k at this rate...

Less than 10K on 3 platforms put together - truly impressive flop of epic proportions.

Yep!

Would've sold better, or, at least, made more money (or less loss?) if they just kept it a Wii-exclusive IMO...

They should just killed the home console versions entirely, and put everything into getting it ready for 3DS launch.  They'd have had a wide open market, with Rayman 3D (ie: the zillionth version of Rayman 2) being their only direct competition.

So I guessed right when I assumed that Rayman 3D would just be another Ubisoft cash-in and port of an already existing Rayman title. I wouldn't even be surprised, if the DS version of Rayman 2 would be used as the base for Rayman 3D.

According to Ubi, it's a port of the Dreamcast version.  The DS port was based on the N64 original iirc.

Normally I'd say Wii easily for a game like this, but the Wii's audience has largely lost interest in all but the biggest titles (Goldeneye, DKCR, Epic Mickey) with smaller titles, even the likes of Kirby and Metroid barely registering.

On top of that, sequels historically due horrid on Wii.  Most casual Wii owners are like, 'been there, done that, why buy the same game again?'  Even SMG2 will never approach the original's sales.

Yes, Just Dance 2 is an exception, granted.  Dancing games in general seem to be on the rise as the fad catches on.

PS3's user base is too old and too core.

Makes the winner 360 in my estimation.
