If there's one word most would use to describe de Blob, it'd be 'flop'

I don't think there is anyone on these forums that would call 850k for de Blob a 'flop' besides some retarded individuals.

Hence the disclaimer underneath

I'm also in the feeling a 3DS port is on the way, let's hope so!

Depends on if they actually decide to promote this game...I really do want it though but I haven't seen any advertisement at all for a game that's predecessor was promoted everywhere.

I have seen the damn shirts everywhere. Where are people getting them, on TV chuck had one.

Perhaps I'm just watching the wrong channels then. O.o

Which channels are the right channels???

Also, here in the UK the prequel wasn't promoted at all, so...

Oh yeah, if you can get NintendoTV on your Wii there's a 5 minute special on de Blob 2, I'd reccomend it!

It was mostly promoted on Nickelodeon I believe. In fact, I recall seeing commercials for de Blob up to 4-6 months after the game was released. x.o

And I can't get anything really until Friday night. :/

Really?  Hadn't a clue it was even really advertised

Hopefully this game will break a million between all the consoles anyway, hopefully exclusivly on one console, probably the Wii!

Wii, by far.

Don't think it will be a big seller on any platform though. Would probably sell better if they went with digital distribution on PS3/360. Games like this don't seem to see any advertising, at all, and usually they're hidden away from the 'charts' showcasing the popular titles, in physical stores. In England at least, so due to marketing alone I can't see it selling well on 360/PS3. Not sure how good the game is either, looks kind of boring, reviews might effect sales somewhat.

True, we can still hope though...

I know what you mean about the 'charts' though. IT'll be there for maybe a week or two then hidden awy at the back of the store...

HEck, our local Game wasn't gonna stock it, except for the Wii version, because I pre-ordered it

So that could have an impact on sales over here anyway

At gamestation near me it'll go to either 10th on the chart (bottom) or not make it there at all... the retail stores really aren't great. I remember asking about 3DDotgameheros (on the day they were supposed to release it)before only to get:

Clerk1: Wth is that?

Clerk2: Some crappy japanese game, looks like it should be on PSN. No we don't have it.

I believe the staff of these stores literally organise the charts relative to there personal interests/scope of games. lol kinda unfortunate. D Blob on Wii will probably make top 5 in the charts though.

Oh Gamestation,I also remember going in to get No More heroes 2 about 4 months after release, and they said they couldn't stock it, because it 'hadn't been released yet'

I mean, seriously? They say 'talk to the gamers', but they don't know anything! They only know about COD, Fifa or GTA. Anything else or anything Nintendo-related, and they don't seem to care...

Hopefully de Blob will make it through this wall of ignorance though

de Blob benefitted alot from being in the Christmas release list for Wii and ended up getting alot of sales from that. I'm not sure this one will hold up so well without the Christmas rush there, just not sure the market is there in February. It really takes me as a parents buying their kids type game.

I'll probably pick it up on PS3 once it's reduced though, looks like alot of fun. I think it'll get to 1.2 million LTD on all consoles, but not much beyond there and the Wii version probably won't outsell the original.

Maybe the market's there because there aren't any other games coming out?

...

...

Aside from Kirby's Epic Yarn, Killzone 3 and Bulletstorm...

Yeah, Wii version will sell best

I still hope for a slow rise like Boom Blox and the original, maybe a million LT!

It looks as though it deserves it!

Yeah, but Boom Blox didn't deserve 2 sales.  The only one that should've owned a copy was Spielberg,

I think that's a bit unfair, Boom Blox was a good, if not great, game.

Better than the usual tripe EA comes out with anyway

Let's agree to disagree.  I couldn't stand that game.

I could see how you would think that it gives Dead Space: Extraction a run for it's money though.
