Forums - General Discussion - I'm done with Joystiq. From now on I'm VGChartz 4 life!

@sieanr, Oh yeah I forgot about that article. What a fucking jackass Cole was, arguing that the console that loses its manufacturer the most money is the greatest value to the consumer? I'd like him to explain that to the countless retirement homes picking up Wiis so they can stay active and social, or to everybody who's going to lose weight with Wii Fit, or get the Wii-exclusive gaming heaven that is Brawl. I always figured he left Joystiq because after a few million more Wii sales his head exploded. More than any Nintendo hater, he seemed like the guy who had some sort of ulcer that acted up at every Wii sale.

@fkusumot, That's also a main part of the reason I had to go steady with the Chartz. I can't go around having nemeses at other forums. It just doesn't feel right. Especially when it's a majority of their bloggers and commenters.

@everybody else, I can't change my avatar. fkusumot likes it. He gave me an 11 in that other avatar-rating thread.

Joystiq is always a day behind Kotaku, I tend to visit GoNintendo first (Kevin AKA Rawmeatcowboy is just such an awesome guy, he works so hard on that site) then I visit Kotaku (There tend to be a lot of unhappy gamers on that site) and last but not least I come here. I also check Gizmodo, which offers up the best tech news (way better then the current Slashdot).

That's my story.... Joystiq is also usually hit up at least once a day, but their comments section is even worse then Kotaku's so I completely avoid logging in there.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

I still post in engadget quite a bit usually the patent stories but haven't posted in Joystiq in a long long time. I do admit I do enjoy Ludwigs articles but the whole damn site tries to imitate him. Everythign went downhill when they started using cats for all their posts.

All fine and well, but please CHANGE YOUR AVATAR.

I said please, I'm not like the mean Joystick community (I'm more into Kotaku anyways).

Congratulations on ending your abusive relationship. Sometimes you just have to admit that the magic is gone, and move on.

I've camped in a lot of forums, and VGchartz is definately one of the finest. I was freaking out earlier today when the site wasn't up, the rest of the internet just doesn't compare. I ended up leaving for work early out of boredom instead of cruising the threads, looking for juicy morsels of knowledge and amusement.

If you don't stop complaining about Rubang's hot body, then I'm changing my avatar to this picture of myself. Then you'll know the true meaning of pain.

Parokki: You made me do it.

Rubang change your avatar, NOW!!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist the thought of Parokki implementing his new avatar.

Parokki, if that's you, PLEASE use it. We can bring VGChartz to its knees with our godlike avatars!

you betrayed us? How dare you!

I myself am a one forum man. Makes life much easier.

Oh, and keep the avatar. It adds "character" to the site.
