thanks bioware for ruin one of the best franchises for me this generation, dragon age origins was one of my favourite games and they fuck it .

Now is a hack and slash , and a bad one . the changes they made are all for worst ...

I am sad ...

Nah, play the  PC version its not hack and slash (i've not played the console ones)

I throughly enjoyed the first Dragon Age, and I think the changes they made to this game are excellent. Played all 3 versions, pretty much the same except the PS3 version sees to be darker by default. Can't wait for March 8th; if it's as good as the first one, I'll be spending a lot of time on it.

Downloads are at 430k (http://dragonage.bioware.com/da2/demo/), almost halfway there. I don't believe multiple downloads on the same account will count toward the total. Only 2 weeks left.

hmmm the demo is fun i didnt like the firsts battle system and 2 has me hooked.

Downloading it right now....I hope its better then the first.

to all the people that dont know this. you can turn auto attack on!!!

Lets just say it meet my expectations, in other words it sucked. Sorry to any who like the game, but it had the same faults I hated about the first game.

1st- it is a boring button mashing paradise, I even stopped fighing at one point and my crew beat the enemies on their own.

2nd- Thegraphics are still abysmal for a game on the HD bad boys. This would not matter to me though if the gameplay was actually fun.

PC version didn't have that issue. And you can always put difficulty a bit higher.

I know this and would probably enjoy the pc versions battle stlye better. When I buy my next PC I'll have to make sure it can handle modern games , but than I will hardly have use for my 360.

From the demo I am a little disappointed too but I just have super high hopes for the game. It seems even more linear to account for better and more immersive story telling I guess, but the cutscene after cutscene isn't what I was looking for. I've preordered the Bioware Signature Edition so the extra goodies should make up for it.

I agree it is a bit more button mashing in the demo because you don't have all of your skills and traps yet to use, so you are more dependent on basic attacks. Just wait for the actual game to come out to open up all of the good skills and spells to use.

I have to say that the graphics have definitely improved for the PS3 version.

So you think if I actually stuck with EVEN the lst Dragon age for mor than six hours it gets better on the HD consoles as the game progresses? I ask this because I love the story of bioware games, but if the gameplay is not there than it is hardly a game. So basically how long did it take before the battle system got complex enough to involve strategy and not just button mashing?
