All of January retailers such as Bestbuy, Target, Amazon, etc... had $50 rebates and/or giftcards with 160GB PS3 purchase.

Today I went to pick one up at Bestbuy. All 160GB wiped out.

I then hopped over to Walmart. All 160GB wiped out.

I then hopped over to Target. All 160GB wiped out.

Are they clearing 160GB inventory? If so, then for what?

Seems odd, especially since the KZ3 bundle is a 160GB model.

try gamestop you can even check there website to see which stores have em before you drive out you can do the same at BB and targets website too, maybe there holding shipments for it for next week b/c they are packing em with KZ3 now

i thought i heard that sony was prepping a 320gb ps3 system as the standard one and taking move out of it, could be wrong about this. but i am almost 100% certain though i heard right.

Those stores around your area are probably just out. I was just out and hit up Best Buy and Target. Target had their usual 1 or 2 160GB PS3s, while Best Buy had stacks and stacks of then. I'm sure they had close to fifty PS3's all over the place.

Guess it might just be my area or maybe they are saving them for Tuesday.
