I use a logitech G9 mouse with a G15 keyboard... i've always wanted to try a copperhead, are they good?

they are awesome butold now. Get a DeathAdder or one of the other mice I named above. The lachesis might be a bit to sensitive though as its 4000dpi.

The the copperhead is very good, very responsive, comfortable and ofcourse in the right hands extreamly accurate. I can't compare it to the Logitech G9 as I have never tried it.  I can't wait to try the Adder out to see how they've managed to improve on it.

One feature that I find very usefull on the Copperhead was being able to change sensitivity on the fly by a simple button click which is great for doing sniper shots  - can the G9 do that?

The G5 can if that means anything. I love the having on the fly sensitivity changing. However, I really only use it to move around normally when an fps slows down the sensitivity like when you're doing something (such as sprinting).

*edit* a quick search looks like it can.

Anybody find putting weights on your mouse useful? It doesn't to me as the G5 was already heavier than the generic mouse I was already using. It took about a month to really get used to it, lol.

woot, go Antec. I have the P-180 case, which is very similar. It's a really good quiet case, if you can get over the fact that the psu compartment is on the bottom.

For the person asking about copperheads - I have a habu mouse (it is microsoft branded but made by razor) - it has helped my accuracy in fps's a little bit and I really like the buttons. Max sensitivity in a desktop environment is kind of twitchy though.

crappy year for AMD/ATI :/

crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.
