We'd have to wait till Sony put's out more of it's original flavors to tell :P If MGS4 doesn't push a jump start on the America's or if FFXIII doesn't spirit bomb Japan then we'd have a much clearer standing, as soon as people pick it up for whatever reason they're holding out for, then they'll have the incentive to pick up the other great titles as well for a cheaper price lol.

I dont mean 'Dreamcasted" meaning they will sell less, I use it more as an adjective to mean more of a "failed console". The first Xbox sold 25 million and I consider it to have been "Dreamcasted" or failed.

Actually in Japan, PS3 is doing almost as badly as the DC did, only slightly better sales



 

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Even if it sells as much as the Xbox 360 in its first year, it can still be considered a failure if it doesnt catch on to major gamming regions. This is not a troll tread. I already stated the Xbox 360 is a failure without America. Objectively, can we say that about PS3 without Italy, France, and Germany. Its an objective question. I clearly stated the incredible weakness of the Xbox WW presence.
