I still have to play part I lol, its in my backlog somewhere -____-, sigh why must bioware take my youth!?

i agree. and i suggest you play it fast. youl quickly want to replay it. im on my 3rd playthrough :).

only 3rd?  I just finished my 7th.  Bioware are the gods of gaming, everything they have ever done has been amazing.  Lol, I've played through Mass Effect 2 twelve times.  I have like 50 games that I own that I have never played, but I just cant get past these Bioware games, they are that freaking good!!

7th? Why do people replay this game so many times?

Like the thread maker for example:

dragon age:origins 10/10 very good game am on my 3rd play through, will play it 6 times.

Not saying it's wrong but as it's very story driven game, how can you not get bored?

well my 1st and 2nd playthrough had a 4 month gap. my 2nd and 3rd had a 6th month gap possibly more. that helps. also everytime i choose a new origin stor., and since bioware are evil people who want my time they entertwined characters from the origin story to the main quests. that pushes me to replay the game.

im currently playing as a mage. i went back to the tower and had nice conversations, i also killed my friend, jowen :P. and i had sex with a demon. on my 2nd playthrough i was a dwarven noble, i killed my brother prince bhelen. and i found my long lost friend in denerim! how can you say no?  such unique experiences!

Love that game but I have to admit, I only played once.

Took me 80 hours though including DLC (and another 40 hours for Awakening).

If I had more time I'd replay it, like you say with a different origins story.

yeah, what zgamer said.  Bioware makes story driven games, but they also include a huge amount of choices and different approaches to the story, that can make each playthrough unique.

Basically, I've never played the same story once in all my playthroughs, parts are the same, but there is enough different to make each time feel fresh and different while retaining the original awesomeness.

Great job with the Thread, zgamer5.

I'm enjoying Origins at the moment so I guess I'm lucky: no long wait to play its sequel, just as I did with Mass Effect 2. I'm such a happy elf!!

Awesome thread!

I did once plan to create the Dragon Age II Official Thread but I noticed that there were too many haters of DA II and I thought that there wasn't any benefit in making one and hence decided not to but it's great to see someone else make it and make it really good.

I just hope Morrigan is in this game in some significant capacity. I found her the most interesting character in the game and played through her DLC too (which was awesome because there was a huge throwback to the origin story of the Dalish elves).

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

I just played through the first couple of minutes of the demo (PC) and I've gotta say there a lot of changes everywhere. Battles now seem more fast paced, menues have changed, graphics are beautiful and the atmosphere is as compelling as ever. God I love Bioware.

For those who might experience some trouble with windows 7 and some d3dx9_43.dll missing, check this out:

meh

...

Really enjoyed the demo. Lack of autoattack was kind of tiresome for a mage (it might actually make things more interesting for a melee class, though), but beyond that I liked more or less everything.

Also, does anyone have any insight as to how coercion is going to work this time around? I didn't see a talents pane in the menu.

updated mage class with specialization.

Played the demo and it was amazing!!!
