I agree... Gears will sell  better.

But I guess the gap will be lower than Gears 2 to Uncharted 2 gap.

Interesting thread. looking at the sales Uncharted 2 is very close to Gears of War 1 and 2 sales in Europe (about 150,000, last i checked). if UC3 continues as an excellent follow up to UC2 i think it will definitly outsell Gears 1 and 2 in Europe and Japan.

whether or not it will as successful in the US is debatable, but i think it could end up being very close.

there is no doubt that Gears of War 3 confirm win in total sales just because of huge US xbox360 fans base out there... non of PS3 exclusive can compete with xbox360 sales in US at all

However, it seems pretty unlikely that UC3 will win, the gap between them is just too great, and the strong sales of the 360 in America, along with Gears 3 and other games likely launching nearby, will harm sales

Uncharted is winning? Hm. There's too much of a difference between the previous titles, I don't think it can do it.

Gears 3 will sell more but you guys are forgetting one thing:  Gears 3 launches a couple of months before Uncharted 3.  Now, if we align launches with the copies of Gears 3 sold after Uncharted 3 (meaning everything sold before Uncharted 3 launches doesn't count) then I'm sure you'll find that Uncharted 3 is the clear winner.  Using the same logic puts the PS3 ahead of the 360, too!

Awesome, so true.

If we discount every week before the last then 360 is the winner, and the Wii is in 3rd as well! Everyone wins!

*ahem*

I find it strange that UC3 is winning...do the sales of games previously in the series mean NOTHING?

i think U3 has a chance of selling on par with gears 3 it will be close

i agree with some others U2s online is the shit i enjoyed it more than its SP and its my favorite MP game this gen
