My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

My wife had a great time with Hotel Dusk. It's kind of a game and novel at the same time. It was quite fun and by now should be quite cheap. Look it up...

New Super Mario Bros is a sure bet. If you both have DS's Mario Kart (along with other games) can link up wirelessly and you two can race together. Its quite fun. Hotel Dusk is alright. Im more of a Zelda guy, but your wife may not be (Even though PH is amazing). If shes into puzzles, there is Picross and NYTimes Xwords

Fantastic quote - Never thought of Phoenix Wright, will get that and whats this Super Princess Peach For the record we dont have one each, only she has one (i'm not really into handhelds)

Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony

It seems like she's into 2-D platformers. Maybe Kirby: Canvas Curse. It's a great 2-D platformer, but with that "zomg the stylus controls everything" twist. It's really damn fun. I still think it's one of the best uses of the stylus.

A puzzle game that can last as long as Tetris (as in forever) could be either Puzzle Quest or Picross DS.

All of those games should be super cheap by now.

Favorite Companies: Nintendo, Blizzard, Valve.
Recent New Favorites: Grasshopper, Atlus. (R.I.P. Clover.)
Heroes/Homies: Shigeru Miyamoto, Gunpei Yokoi, Will Wright, Eric Chahi, Suda51, Brian Eno, David Bowie.

For puzzle, I'd choose Picross, Neves, Planet puzzle league and Puzzle quest.

Phoenix wright should definitely be on the list, highly recommend to start with the first one. You'll appreciate/enjoy the story more.

Dragon Quest Mosters: Joker, if she's into catch-em-all RPG.
