It will add to the game play as now you can actually see the distance between you and the monster which will make it easier to hit them with a sword for instance.

lol this a joke?

Hahah yeah isn’t it funny haha lol

Seriously? If you do not have a creative imagination then I can understand why my post is funny to you

what is the funny part your talking about?

IDK, I'm sorry if I offended you don't be mad. To me though, 3d adds nothing be it the shit Sony is shilling in killzone 3 or whatever Nintendo is doing with the 3ds. I've honestly never seen someone make a claim that the 3d effect changed gameplay (this includes all the coverage I read about 3d ps3 games and Nintendo 3ds coverage at E3). Improve the experience and make it seem 'cooler' ? Yes. But actually add to it? No.

Now I know what such a claim looks like and it makes me laugh. I'm sorry if I offended you don't be mad

Don’t worry about it :)

Well you know Kilzone wasn’t built around 3D (at least I don’t think it was) it was just added to it later but we will see some creative stuff on 3DS as developers would want to explore at least that is what I think will happen.

Every one has ideas and someone out there might have a really cool game that has to be in 3D to be played and if not immersion it self adds to the gameplay.

What I should have said is that I think it will add to the gameplay

How would you know it wouldn’t sell more on 3DS?  Wii monster hunter sold better than it did on the PS2

The reason I want it though is that I want to see monsters in 3D. It will add to the game play as now you can actually see the distance between you and the monster which will make it easier to hit them with a sword for instance.

lolz, you can see the distance between you and the monster just fine. Problem is, can you time it right? 3D won't make that wasier.

I could care less about MH, it is one of the most overrated game on the PSP. The gameplay is horrible and so everything about it. It's far for being the best game on the PSP. The reason people want it which is sad has nothing to do with being good or not, but because it's so popular on the PSP. I would take them more seriously if they were asking for the actual great games on the PSP to go over to the 3DS, but it's only been MH over and over again.

Except MH is a great game...especially when you play it online (PSP MHs don't feature this though but I guess you could use adhoc party or whatever...). Anyway, if you don't care about MH why have you been posting in various threads about MH jumping ship to the 3DS? It's not staying on the PSP forever, and there's no particular reason why it should absolutely be on the NGP either besides not wanting the 3DS to have a super edge against the NGP in Japan...but I doubt Capcom cares about that.

I have never played the Wii version. And, that's the thing, there's been so many threads about it. Now, it's simply annoying.

OK so you never played the Wii version (Maybe any other version either) and you said earlier that the controls on the wii version are worse than the other ones. Make sense please.

When did I say that?  at least read the thread or don't respond to me.

Maybe I mixed up between you and someone else because you both post similar shit. Don't mind how I wrote this post. It aint meant to offend anyone. Just saying.

Well I do think a Monster Hunter game will come out for 3DS.  I'm actually surprised that one never came out for the DS to tell ya the truth.  But I agree with other sentiments that more than likely the first MH game they bring to 3DS will probably be a port, maybe of the recent PSP edition.

Also important to remember that Nintendo has invested money and time into the Monster Hunter franchise.  Not saying it'll be exclusive to them, but just need to keep that in mind.  Same thing we keep in mind when we talk about Dragon Quest nowadays where Nintendo has made similar moves and obviously that series latest iterations have all been on Nintendo systems.

I'm just curious as to how the controls will be. On the PSP the analog stick is at the bottom left and the D-pad is at the top left. On the 3DS this is the opposite meaning that moving camera in-game would be a huge horrible pain in the ass, but who knows? The PSP brought out a Monster Hunter PSP that had some physical changes to it maybe Nintendo Capcom will have a Monster Hunter 3DS that has the D-Pad and analog stick switched round.

Time will tell :)

Monster Hunter Portable 3DS. Beleive it.

While this would be awesome for MH to be on the 3DS, I do want NGP to compete a little bit.
