So what do you guys think? What will the new Nintendo console be called?It will be the successor of the successful Wii...that dominated the 7th home-console generation!

The lets call it "Mission-Name" for it is Wii 2...liekely all people that mention a Wii successor name it Wii 2...but i think this is more like a "projekt-name" for it...and i doubt that Nintendo will call it Wii 2...this is just not their style IMO...

Maybe Super Wii? To keep the succesful Wii in honor?

Or a totally new?Like all the last names? (Wii,Gamecube,64)

For me i really think "Super Wii" could make it...its a great name for a great new Nintendo console in my eyes!

I think it will use the 'Wii' name, similar to how the 3DS uses the 'DS' name, but has a preffix or a suffix to indicate that it is the Wii's successor.

it will be called the Nintendo Dome or Nintendo Sphere and will hover a few inches above the ground infront of your tv

I agree with you.  The Wii doesn't have complete HD capabilities and the next Nintendo console will and I think it will also have better motion controls and something new as well, what I don't know.  So the Super Wii will definitely fit the next console perfectly.

Seriously Super Wii makes the most sense to me, they can use the strength of the Wii brand and the super is like SNES, so its got nintendo nostalgia in the name too!

Wow i'm surprised you guys haven't figured it out yet. The 3DS is just a test run for the big boy and let people get use to glassless 3D. Mark my words, the next Wii will have stereoscopic 3D, and will be called..... "Wii3D" or "3DWii"
