Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Dragon Quest X Wii -- Where is it?

Man Wii is the last system I want this game for. Sucks that I gotta get a Wii just for this. I hope it comes out on something else. /cry

We all know a game called Tales of Graces. No one knew that a PS3 version was going to be released. So please stop saying that Dragon Quest X on PS3 is not possible, because it is being developed for Wii.

Different dev, different franchises, different standards.

What I find funny is that users that would keep saying DQ10 will come on the ps3, are typically the first ones to complain about 360 users saying stuff about Final Fantasy V 13.

My view on all this is, if it happens it happens. Stop guessing based on zero evidence.

Tales of Graces is a bad example anyway. There a thread about removed content in the Wii version and I posted this

That's not fair, the PS3 will get the better version again, and the new character will be a boob girl

I was half right :P

Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?

Changing sides isn't the same as backstabbing. I mean, I don't think Nintendo published DQ-DQVI anywhere.

Actually, the NES release of Dragon Quest 1 (then titled Dragon Warrior) was published by Nintendo in the US. (For that matter, so was Final Fantasy 1. Was Nintendo trying to help RPGs get a foothold over here?) Enix started publishing it themselves at DQ2. Nintendo is also the US publisher of DQ6 on the DS.

Didn't know the first part. Thanks. I thought that Nintendo was extremely hostile towards third parties back then so it's surprising that they helped these franchises establish themselves.

On topic, I find it hillarious how many people are crying about DQX being on Wii. You guys have got pretty much every other important third party game. Don't be so selfish, xD.

Nah.  It's going to be an Xbox 360 exclusive.  You heard it here first.

... If Wada could have his way.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

Conservatives:  Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

I haven't used my Wii in a long time because honestly there are no games for it, but I'll use it once this comes out in 2013.

This will stay wii-only as horii has stated, SE only has an exclusive production contract with him.

It's on its way to be ported to PS3

IF THAT HAPPEN I WILL BUY 2 COPIES (SERIOUSLY, 1 COPY FOR COLLECTION, WRAPED) AND I HAVE AT LEAST 5 FRIENDS THAT WOULD PREORDER THEIR COPIES INMEDIATELY, PLEASE SE BRING DQX TO HD CONSOLES (I DONT MINE IF X360 HAVE HIS VERSION TOO, IT WOULD BE GREAT THAT EVERYBODY COULD ENJOY THIS WONDERFULL FRANCHISE IN ALL HIS GLORY), IT WOULD SELL MILLIONS AND MILLIONS.

Cmon man. It'l sell millions and millions anyway, it's Dragon Quest

I must have said this about 5 times in other threads, but seriously, if you want a game, get the game, whatever the console. If you really want a game people need to get rid of whatever pre-set bias they have towards any company (not meaning towards you or anyone else in a hard way, just a general statement ) and just enjoy gaming again.

You'll find it's much more fun that way!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

In Japan it was always called Dragon Quest from day 1, Dragon Quest was only Dragon Warrior in the US though due to the name Dragon Quest already belong to a table top RPG or something like that.

and Dragon Quest was always published by Enix in Japan.
