if you had to make the choice today what console would you choose next gen and why ?

you can choose more than one.

I strive very hard to experience as many games as I can from as wide a range as possible. I platted God of War III. I maxed my cheevos in Vanquish and both Mass Effects. I'll follow Shinji Mikami into the grave. 242 stars twice. Gears of War 3 is my looked forward to co-op game of the generation. I just bought the first Uncharted. Blah blah blah blah blah. THis is the part where I continue to extoll on my enormous purported sense of non-bias, shit-eating grin plastered on my face all the while.

But I'm going to go with whichever console has Zelda and Mario. There are no other choices to be made. If I can only pick one, I'll pick the Nintendo console every time.

When I was young I had a Genesis instead of an SNES. I didn't play Link to the Past until 2002 or so.

I'm definitely going with Nintendo's Next console - I just love the games they make so much, and they keep getting better and better with each iteration - They just make games like no one else, they're so much fun to play especially 4player local multiplayer games like Mario Kart and Brawl which I still play to this day

And cuz I'm hooked on motion controls - They've enhanced the gameplay of so many games, NPC Pikmin 1 & 2 are 10x better with wiimote pointer controls and there's no going back for me

I can't see a Zelda or Animal Crossing and not being able to play those games. Since those games are true exclusives not available in any other platform, Nintendo will always have my money for at least those 2 franchises...

who me? yeah i had one from 07 to nov 21 2008. i got rid of it because  it RROD on me 4 time in under 6 months!

got  PS3 for bluray and a handfull of exclusives and will never look back. microsoft doesn't exist to me anymore.

.....anywho, ill no doubt start with whatever nintendo's next console is. nintedno forever....after that i dont really now, i might pick up whatever microsoft throws out provided it doesnt have all the problems of the 360 right after launch.
