Those are not good screenshots. Hopefully it looks better in motion.

From what I understand, the framerate is terrible on larger maps. Why they'd try to port THIS game to consoles is beyond me.

But yeah, the pictures look terrible, and the terrain is profoundly lacking in detail.

Bluck... Hopefully gameplay makes up for the crappy graphics...

The game has incredible graphics on the PC, and the real issue is frame rate, which is a deadly problem for RTS is if it isn't handled, and from reports, it appears it is not handled in this instance.

So yeah, again, I'd love to know why anyone tried to port this game in the first place. This has Wii-third-party-style visuals.

Me too... what a sad looking port.

I haven't tried it myself, but I understand the game doesn't look that impressive as far as graphics are concerned. It's taxing on horsepower, but mostly due to the sheer amount of stuff happening at once.

How on Earth a game like this is supposed to be played on a console, that's what I can't figure out.

Yikes, looks terrible...especially considering Supreme Commander was such a graphics-pusher.

I can understand some RTSs on consoles...not this...I just don't get it.

Anyway, now I have the urge to play me some SupCom.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I think you heard wrong.  It's very impressive graphically.  Easily the most graphically impressive RTS to date.  However, it's clearly more than the consoles can handle both in graphical and gameplay processes.  It looks like everything (including the terrain) is being toned down to the point of retardation.  No thanks.

This is such a tired genre. I'm just waiting for the Bratz RTS "Mall Wars!'
