Well, Final Fantasy has been out for what, something like 23 years? Demon's Souls is still too new to have that kind of fanbase.

They did that mid development and ended up cutting out (and probably not even starting things they intended) alot of things because of the disk size issue and extra work load, I do think Dark souls might be a little more limited then if it was ps3 exclusives but demon souls wasn't an overly large game and it didn't really do anything to push the hardware so it should be fine 

This argument again?  SE themselves said they didn't cut ANYTHING from the game because they launched it on 360.  If it would have never come out on 360 and been PS3 exclusive it still would've been the exact same game that we ended up getting.

OT:  Demon Souls was awesome and I'm sure Dark Souls will be too.  Great for 360 only owners but I'm for sure picking it up on PS3.

Um that sounds like PR bs since the people who worked on the games said themselves they cut like 8 gigs from the game because of the 360, it was all in an article either way if you don't think turning a game into a multiplat mid development won't effect the end result you are just naive

Party chat always works for the 360.

You never know, they could have a crazy feature that blocks it while playing. I wouldn't be shocked if they did that, at all. They made sure they didn't have Voice Chat on Demons Souls on PS3 to add difficulty and to keep you on your toes online.

yo_john117 is right. They can't block party chat as it's integrated into the OS software and can't be disabled by a game. If they could somehow cut a deal with MS to allow them to do it I suppose they could, provided MS helps but with how MS operates with their strict policies, I'd say it's just about impossible.
