Great for 360 owners. This reminds me of how PS3 owners got Mass Effect 2 but not ME1. (i.e. 360 owners get Dark Souls but not Demon's Souls)
Yeah, I did just compare Mass Effect and Demon's Souls. DS really was THAT good.
GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Differnce being that ME is a story driven game, where Demon's souls where rich in back story of the characters, lore and enviroments wasn't really a story based game and picking up Dark souls without playing Demon souls won't make you feel lost in the least (story wise anyways, gameplay wise is another story)
ok so dark souls go to 360 and everyones exited final fantasy goes to 360 its the end of the world lol you gotta feel sorry for square enix there the only company where there pressured to keep the fanbase limited
demon souls is an excellent title to own, il deffo be getting this.

Oh, I didn't even realize it was coming to 360 too. While I'll mostly likely get it for PS3 anyways, thats pretty cool. I'll make sure my Xbox360-only friends get it =)
And Demon's Souls told it's story through atmosphere and gameplay. I wouldn't say they tell the same kind of story, but both ME and DS do great jobs with narrative in their own way. I still remember the first time I fought the Tower Knight. It just made me feel so weak and helpless. Or the way my heart was POUNDING as I was going through the swamp level, knowing that if anything rushed at me, I was probably dead. Or walking on those thin walkways in the tower level, thinking I could fall at any moment. All of these experiences and feelings, that are enforced by the atmosphere and gameplay, are the real story of Demon's Souls. I imagine Dark Souls will be just as good.

Well, Final Fantasy has been out for what, something like 23 years? Demon's Souls is still too new to have that kind of fanbase.

They did that mid development and ended up cutting out (and probably not even starting things they intended) alot of things because of the disk size issue and extra work load, I do think Dark souls might be a little more limited then if it was ps3 exclusives but demon souls wasn't an overly large game and it didn't really do anything to push the hardware so it should be fine
