in all honesty in case the OP is serious with the thread

they havent and imo will not continue to release em as frequent b/c its just a add on or controller in this case, since when did anyone start releasing sales data for ad ons? the PS eye has been out since 07 how much shipment data do we have for it?

Since a concurrent released their succesfull add on numbers....

Sony has only given move numbers in direct responce to MS giving Kinect numbers, something which we haven't seen (it's being tracked but MS hasn't made any annoucements)

if this is in anyway true I exspect they will till us the numbers at GDC.

correct me if I am wrong
stop me if I am bias
I love a good civilised debate (but only if we can learn something).

I think they are treating Move like a Dualshock 3, not much care about the sales.

I think MS are holding off the showboating till Kinect crosses the 10M mark. Although MS did release the 8m shipment data at the end of the year whereas there was no word from Move.

Kinect sales are droping pretty fast, partly because it got an artificial boost from massive commericials and the holiday, it was launched at the best time to make the most sales in a short time but I just don't see it's sales holding very high so maybe MS doesn't want to draw attention to the fact that the sales are dropping and frankly I don't think Sony cares about showboating at all they like the sales and have mentioned it's a slow burn unlike kinect

I don't get where you got the large drop off from though? If it weren't the for new releases KA would be at the top of the table according to the VGC numbers. Doing about 190K at the beginning of February indicates no lacksture in sales whatsoever, if it drops below 50k by the time it crawls it's way to the holidays you can claim that. But I struggle to find any Move related game, as there is no main bundled game other than Sports Championships in the US to make comparison with. Slow burner? When will it kick in then? There are only two years at maximum left in this gen, if that.

Kinect sold several million in less then 2 months, another month and it hasn't even sold another 1 million, how is that not a major drop off? Also move has been selling consistently and well and theres a whole move section in future shop with all the move enabled games in one place if your struggling to find them something must be wrong with you
