Later in the year with Killzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet - Hopefully MGS4 can carry it to that point.

Burnouts 360 as well, but I expect better attach rates than the 360 as has been the case in recent months.
I imagine burnout on the PS3 will fare much better than the 360 version in others after seeing what Need for speed has done.
Should be a good start to the year with Haze, Burnout and DMC4. Not sure if im gonna pick up haze yet...4 player co-op sounds preeetty sweet though.

If you said "compared to the 360" your prediction would be plausible, but including the Wii there makes it totally impossible.

PS3 will never dominate in 2008. Unless Nintendo suffers more shortages. It will take 2nd place away from 360.
Boycotting the following:
1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.
2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.
3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.
4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games. If that were the case they'd own a PS3.
5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.
6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Well, domination will start after GT5, MGS4 and probably GTA4.
Also GT5:prologue may have some effect.
Anyway, as you can see, in Europe, racing games are pretty popular. PGR4 is selling better then in USA, same with NFS. The GT5 will just do amazing there. =)
And GTA4, unless M$ will do MEGA advertising, that on x360 you will be able to BUY an additional content, most sales will go to PS3. Just because most people played the game on PS2.
There are around 17 mln. potential buyers of GTA4 worldwide. =)

Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.
