So as some of you know (but most don't), I have been completely neglecting console gaming for a while. The last console game I purchased was Mass Effect 2 for Xbox 360. I've been doing a lot of PC gaming and I was looking for something on a console. I own Xbox 360, PS3, and the Wii (and DS, but I don't want a new DS game). So I'm looking for a game released between last February to now on one of those 3 systems.

The only game that's completely off my list is God of War 3. I haven't finished the GoW collection yet, and I'm honestly not a big fan of the genre. So I'm interested in any other recommendation. Let's make it interesting, pick only 2 games and tell me why those games. Thanks in advance =)

seriously Dead space 2 is good too.

While that was released in 2009, I haven't played it, and I am curious about it.

I skipped Dead Space 1, but I may be able to borrow it, and then maybe I'll see if I'm interested in Dead Space 2.

Go to the PSN and get Crash Team Racing. The pace and racing system is great in it, has lots of replayability, and IMO its sliding mechanics are so good and makes every mario kart game look like a childs game.

I know the game is 10 years old but it's amazing

But if your looking for recent LBP 2 is fine also.

if you want a new game though, I would go with little big planet 2. Its really fun.

I second going for Infamous, it is a good game. The gameplay is nice and the controls are good, if you have played Uncharted you'll see the similarities in controls.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a great game, plus it was the highest rated game last year and it's like the 3rd highest rated game ever.

Donkey Kong Country Returns is an awesome game. If you liked New Super Mario Bros. Wii then you'll love it.

My personal favourite game from last year was Monster Hunter Tri. It's probably one of the best games I've ever played. I've never got that addicted to a game since Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I think I put like 300 hours into it. I didn't know what to expect first time I played it because it was my first Monster Hunter game but it felt so satisfying taking down a huge dragon. I immediately got hooked after that. The online mode is great.
