The Halo: Combat Evolved remake is allegedly being developed by New Jersey-based Saber Interactive, the company behind TimeShift and Namco's upcoming Inversion, but we've been unable to confirm the nature of the engine powering it. We understand that it's something other than the Reach engine.
As if MS would give it to them, they're clearly not talented enough for the Halo franchise ...

That is, if they actually had some good first-party teams.
|
Yeah cause only first party teams can work on console ports for Microsoft...Sabe Interactive is so a Microsoft first party studio. They couldn't hire someone like Epic, Crytek or Remedy to make them a game without making them first party.
Seriously though, was the jab at MS first party studios worth sounding ignorant like this?
|
My hidden point was that they can't boss around independed (more or less) devs like they can their own studios!
|
Microsoft simply has good ties with independant developers like Epic, Crytek, Remedy etc. No jabs at their first party either. They simply have them busy doing other things. Microsoft is actually easy to work with from what I hear so your hidden point seems moot.
How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...
Xbox 360 wants to Kinect & PS3 wants to Move! Why are both systems having such relationship problems? The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
