Due to be being born in 1996 I was first introduced to the fifth generation by my brother in the form of the Crash Bandicoot franchise, however I have seen it and Spyro decline. I soon experienced the glory of Final Fantasy on PS1, the peak of the franchise in my opinion. I then spread my pallet and became pro Nintendo/Sony, the rest can then be predicted by my games collection.

A friend of mine had Super Mario Land on the original Game Boy.

First home console I ever saw was an N64 with Super Mario 64 at a friend's house.

First console I ever owned was a Game Boy Colour with Pokemon Yellow, right in the middle of pokemania, best time to play video games EVER!

First home console I ever owned was a Sega Megadrive that only had sports games (and Since the Megadrive was practically dead at the time, that was all I thought it had since I never saw games at store shelves, so I thought it was lame and broke it) Later, I got an N64 for christmas.

Although, I think the first game I ever saw was tetris for my parents' old 8/16-bit computer.

I don't remember exactly playing a game the very first time, however my brother told me what it was. I do remember mostly what I have played.

If were speaking in generalities than I guess mine probably would have been Jackal or something.
