Sony is not cutting prices because of MS is selling more than them in America.

Well obviously they won't, but if they want to be on top they have to.

It'll be close between 360 and Wii when you add Japan!

Also, how long will it be like this I wonder? All consoles in a virtual tie?  I hope it doesn't change really. This is how it should be. All 4 consoles have quality libraries and quality games, no single console deserves to outsell the other by a significant amount.

You can say what you want, but it's true. This gen, there really is no standout console, no weaker console. And now the sales reflect that

Wow, Wii's falling apart! 360's  ahead WW almost certainly. And we're only 4 weeks into the year. The HD consoles could end up within a million of Wii in 2011 sales.

Sony wants to make money, they are already getting close to the 360, less than 3 million gap now. There is no way the PS3 is staying at $299 in its fith year. Let's just be patient.
