Forums - Sales Discussion - uDraw a sales monster

So, I hard the news today that uDraw has sold over 1.2million copies in America alone.

Don't believe me? Look here:

http://www.destructoid.com/userious-udraw-moves-1-2-million-units-193144.phtml

I was truly surprised when I heard the news. Especially since it's currently showing under a million on this site...

But this is great news for THQ, who have now said that they'll be focusing on the tablet, in addition to Kinect and Move. But what about other developers? Will they join in?

...if you're listening Nintendo, how about Mario Paint eh?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I know I bought a uDraw GameTablet, along with Pictionary and Dood's Big Adventure.

THQ did an excellent job with it and I can't wait to see what games come out for it this year.

The Board is the best site on the Internet.

This could be big in EMEAA.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

Let's just hope they actually keep up with support. I somehow can see them never releasing another game for the thing because that is how peripherals seem to be on Wii.

I don't think it's really "could" anymore

Also, Lanceuppercut, is the tablet good then? I can't really find any reviews about it and/or it's quality...

As is being discussed in other threads, quality core games just aren't selling well on the wii.  Whatever the case may be, I'm glad a third party is adding innovation with a winning strategy.

Nor me but it's quite big in America, could...or will be big in EMEAA.

yes, that sucks, only bought the wii speak, only used for MH3 and nothing more, they gotta give their peripherals a alot of replay value, this 'd better not be a 3-games tablet

I'm uncertain if it'll have massive backing, after all, it's a graphics tablet, not a gaming machine. But I expect some more to come out.

@Nintendogamer- I see 1mil Year 1 in EMEAA, maybe 1.5mil LT, making 5mil LT for it? That'd be great, especially after all the "d00med" comments

Beyond their initial statements when it came out and after it started selling well, in their latest financial statement (today.yesterday) THQ said yet again they have additional games planned for it this year .

I remember it being said there was a Spongebob Drawn to Life (for udraw) in the works. If and when it arrives, I'm in (for my girls).
