*Rare VS Retro*

Rare 107 35.20%

Retro 194 63.82%

Total:301

Retro has been kicking Rare in the stones for almost a decade, now.

God it's been a long time since Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Prime 3 and DKCR felt like average games anyone could have made.

Before I enter in rage mode, I ask you to delete that part. Please.

I'd partly concede DKCR (it is at least worthy of the name DKC) but definitely not Prime 3 (it's like Gameloft made Prime 1 but didn't realise what made it enjoyable or a good game - controls, nonlinearity, music, art design, lack of cutscenes, lack of voice acting, story not pushed in your face, exploration and world-building over shooting)

What about Prime 2? I'm liking it so far, despite being a little frustrating and hard.

Above: still the best game of the year.

Metroid Prime (alone) > RARE

so MP 1 to 3 & DKCR >>>>>>>>> RARE

I'm playing DKCR right now ;)

Retro's hot right now...but comparing the libraries for me isn't close.  There's the prime's and DKCR for Retro.  Rare had the original DKC Trilogy, DK64(suck it darth), Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie/ Tootie, DK racing, and Conker. Give it ten years and this will be a very intriguing question.

Many people say Retro, but if it was 199x more would say Rare...

anyway, I pick Retro

Let retro do a new IP and then this would be fare. At this point they are only making games that have already been established.

As someone said, it has to live up to HUGE expctations, so making a stablished IP is not such an easy deal

I didn't like the Metroid Primes..

Go to your room and think about what you have done.

..as of now Rare is and was way better than Retro.

You could have a very good debate between the Rare of old and current Retro, but comparing the current Rare with the current Retro isn't even close.
