If the Wii failed and sold less than the Gamecube...where would gaming be now?

Sony claims that they were developing Move before the Wii even came out...I don't believe that one bit. Who knows though?

Anyway if Wii failed would Move and/or Kinect still be around? Would gaming stay the way it was during previous Gens or would something else unique be made in its place?

Gaming would have kept moving, no move though.

Probably where it is, without the motion sensors and shizz. Likely Sony would have dominated with less competition in the market.

But sony were developing the move long ago, might not of been before the Wii or could have but the move was suppose to come out with the eyetoy years ago but the camera couldn't detect the light. But there is an video floating around where an sony rep shows off that tech with an lolly pop type stick. 

also the Kinect was not ms (ms later bought them tho) but were people creating an competitior to the EyeToy, and one that works better which it does since its now heading like 9 years into the future 

And what would be the situation right now. Well Nintendo would be doing fine off the back of the DS. 

SONY and MS would gain more market share and add around 10 million each. 

Graphics would become the main feature of the typical game, Sony and MS would be playing t3h graphix warz instead of t3h casual warz, then the gaming industry would collapse in 2020 when the PS5 and Xbox1080 release for around $1000 each.

There would be alot less shovelware i can tell ya!!! but seriously, even though Sony was developing the Move BEFORE the Wii (this is a fact, read GI article on it) they probably would not have the balls to release it, but who knows they kept there eyetoys on the market when their was nothing for it. Not sure if MS would have bothered to buy Kinect tech, and Ninty could survive on the portables but I gotta wonder if they would have went the way of Sega ( IMHO i would have liked this, it would have saved me from having to buy another console)
