I agree with this. The music in The Last Story in my opinion is below average (the final battle theme is hot garbage).

Really? I remember you praising the FFXIV OST. IF the music in TLS was in FFXV you would be praising that one instead because it's on a FF title. Nobuo is not a god and Sakaguchi wanted TLS to have a certain style in music anyway.

Definitely disagree with you on that one. Even though the FF6 soundtrack is one of my all-time favorites, Uematsu has only gotten better since leaving the FF franchise.

I do like a good amount of the music from FFXIV. However overall he has been hit and miss with me for awhile. He isn't as good as he once was. Nice try at taking a swing at me though.

Thats a very unfair thing to say. No he wouldn't and neither would i :/ just because its an ff game doesn't mean we become instantly biased >_> I hated ff10 and 12's sound track so thats obviously not true for me xD

Also if you read through alot of the mosts there are many others who didnt like this music. Yes he wanted a certain style of music im just saying the style wasn't done very well (imo anyway)

My numbers are not random >_> The way i do my scoring is that the first number is the score of how good it think it is. The decimle is how close to reaching the next level i think it is. In this case 7 means good and 8 means great. so by saying 7.9 Im implying that the music is good and very close to being great, just lacks a certain something.

Well I'm playing this game right now and so far it's amazing!! One reason is that there is a sword in this game that i kid you not, looks like a giant sunflower and is crazy powerful for a starter weapon (i got it at chapter six), And now every cutscene elza threatens his enemys with his giant mega sunflower and i lol every time. It is because of things like this that this game is awesome.

If nothing else, the soundtrack can't be any worse than that of FFXIII. It really can't. I like the style of music I've heard from gameplay videos and trailers anyway, so after weeding out the negatives I've read from those who have been hands on with this game I am left with the remarkable title I knew would it would be from the start. Just gotta wait for that localisation now.
