Forums - Sales Discussion - 2008 The year of mulit-platform 3rd Party Games.

We spend alot of time talking about exclusives and the sales war between platforms, but it seems to me the better portion of big titles for 2008 are due out on more then one system. here is a list:

(this list is in no particular order so don't argue the relevance of order)

  • GTA 4
  • Devil May Cry 4
  • Fallout 3
  • Burnout:Paradise
  • Mercenarices 2
  • Last Remnant
  • Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (to my surprise this is listed for the Wii too)
  • Dark Sector
  • Turning Point
  • Star Wars: Force Unleashed
  • Bourne Conspiracy
  • Prototype
  • Fracture
  • Rogue Warrior
  • Borderlands
  • Brutal Legend
  • Sabotuer
  • Saint's Row 2
  • the Outsider
  • Elveon
  • Silent Hill 5
  • Soul Calibur 4
  • Resident Evil 5
  • WET
Here is some garantueed huge titles, mixed with solid looking IPs that have either good devs, or big budgets and will probably be some of the big new IPs next year. And they will all be enjoyed by more then one system. This probably doesn't include everything I just made a quick list, but the point is clear.

RSV 2 is listed for the Wii? Where? How?

It's listed in IGN. Here is the link:

With that said the information says it has yet to be announced for this system. But it seems fishy to me they'd even put it up here if there wasn't some suggestion to a Wii edition. They're not quick to dump tons of other unanounced titles in the Wii section.

It's a mistake by IGN, every other website doesn't have a Wii version listed and even Ubisoft's website for the game only list PC/PS3/360.

It could be the Unreal 3 Wii game ... Not that I really care about the series, anyway; not my cup of tea. But it would be great if it came to Wii especially with all that Wii-Ubisoft love.

It probably isn't coming then, I imagine they might support the Wii with a different title then. I'm still waiting for more news on Red Steel 2
