Erm.. Well Blackbeard is on his way to become the most formidable pirate out. Garp and Sengoku seem to as strong as Whitebeard.... Then we have Shanks and the other Yonkou... The Gorosei strength haven't been shown yet so they should be still in the radar.


The one character I've been waiting for since I started watching One Piece is Dragon. I'm betting this guy is damn powerful and I can't wait to see what he can do. Shanks is definitely strong and I can't wait to see him in action either. can't wait to see how One Piece progresses in both the Anime and Manga :D


He'll be a wind logia user I'll promise my right hand for that being right.

I remember reading somewhere about him possibly being a Mythical Dragon Type that can change weather (or use weather) at will ( I really cant remember where I read this). I think it is very interesting and can be a possibility. I don't think his real name is Dragon because ... I don't know why would you name your kid dragon :p

Garp got a stupid name and wanted to give his kid a cool one :P

Umm...I really doubt that. Sengoku was such a pussy even when he transformed (dude does nothing), and Garp is strong but I doubt he's up to Whitebeard standards (he's not called the "strongest man in the world" for nothing). Garp hasn't really done anything to make him seem that strong.

Also, Akainu got destroyed. If Whitebeard was fighting him at 100% status, I can only imagine what'd happen to Akainu...

That seems to happen a lot in One Piece, really. How many battles has Zoro fought when he wasn't getting over some horrendous injury?

I think that Sengoku knows that if he fights even more then MarineFord would be totaled even more than what it is (Going by the Manga chapters). If I were him, I think I wouldn't fight anymore to cause anymore casualties myself ;D Whitebeard showed that no one in OP (Besides Roger maybe) is at his level of strength by defeating Akainu with ease (and could've done more if Blackbeard didn't show up).

What is this? Did they fight? I stopped watching the anime when they first arrived at the Marine's HQ and started reading the manga from there. (I wanted to see what happened as the anime was lagging behind.) I don't remember any fight like this happening in the manga. Are they not following the manga anymore?

This is probably right. In the previous scenes, whenever he appeared, there appeared to be thunderstorms. Also, Dragons are mythical creatures that can control weather in Chinese and Japanese folklores. Not sure about jap but pretty sure about chinese dragons being masters of weathers

If your're talking about the vid I posted, that isn't in the manga. In the anime, this is what caused the battleship giant to be spotted instead of the last attack Whitebeard did to Akainu(if i remember correctly). There are a few differences in the anime and manga but they are not very major (Less blood, a few extended battles).
