Forums - Nintendo Discussion - 3DS Lite is not possible

I'd get one that looks kind of these and battery last for 8-10 hours with 3D enabled (with the right scree sizes, these are mockups)

Nah, 3DS Lite. I'd rather wait for the 3DSi.

updated: 14.01.2012

playing right now: Xenoblade Chronicles

Hype-o-meter, from least to most hyped:  the Last Story, Twisted Metal, Mass Effect 3, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Playstation ViTA

bet with Mordred11 that Rage will look better on Xbox 360.

They will make an another version of the Nintendo 3DS. Probablty one with a higher camera resolution and longer battery life and call it Nintendo 3DS Advanced.

Ok so 3DSi, 3DS XL, 3DS phat

Yeah, no need to be much lighter. I expect a model with better battery, probably an improved screen, and slicker design.

If I was to guess, I would expect Nintendo to release a new 3DS model for the holday season in 2012 or 2013, but there is no way they will tell anyone about it before they're (almost) ready to release it.

Well, they sure need to fix the battery life some time.

So a 3DSXL.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

The only things i can come with is 3DS XL and 3DSG

I expect they will release one with a better screen, longer battery life, better cameras and more memory in a few years time however.

Tease.

Short of a 3DS  XL, which probably would have worst or equal battery compared to the current 3DS, I can't see another 3DS redesign for another 2 years. It is close enough size to the DS Lite, that the small handed can't complain and tech won't warrent a XL version so those waiting on the eventual redesign are going to be waiting at least 18 months.
