Right, nobody believed you. Except the people who saw them coming at launch. Thank you Captain Obvious for pointing that out and pretending you're the only one that knew.

The problem isn't the "clones" coming to Kinect. The problem is they are broken pieces of garbage.

Just because it's a party game does not mean it's a bad game. It's all about how much time and effort they put into making the game work and work good. Kinect sports, great. KInect adventures, great. Game Party in motion, Horrible. Not because it was a bad idea but because how it controls.

So what does a party game have to do with low quality unless it is a crap game. So it comes down to how good the game plays and interacts.  

So unless it's hardcore, it's crap. I'm getting sick of peaple insisting that only hardcore shooter and cut them up games are quality. It comes down to whether the game is crap or not.

As far as it being a carnival game, it could be great. How do you know off just the name and the choice of the game that it is low quality.  YOU DON'T AND SHOULD STOP THINKING PEOPLE ONLY PLAY HARDCORE AND THAT IS IT.

givin yes there is going to be bad games. Isn't that in any game catagory.

I'm just getting annoyed with seeing broken garbage on Kinect. I'm presuming this will be more of that.

However, I'm enjoying my 360 cause now i get to have time to play some games I've not played yet.  Like chronicles of Riddick - I had this game forever, but haven't played it yet.  And Velvet Assassin, and I know some of you might get upset, but now I have time to play Alan Wake (can't believe I haven't played it yet)

was about to say the same thing. Why isn't  move getting this crap as well? Move should be as easy as the wii remote to design for.

I think people expect the game to be rubbish because of this statement:

"According to Alexander Hinkley at examiner.com, the new game is called Carnival Games: In Action, and looks as though it will be pretty much the same as the original Nintendo Wii game"

A game that has the same name, looks and gameplay as a shitty three years old Wii game is hardly something to get excited about.

Not a fan of Gears of War, Homefront or Crysis 2, because they will all appear on the 360 before too long... or is that not what you meant

Um, alot of people didn't believe me, and the few games at launh (kinect sports? Joyride? etc) were at least some well made games which lead people to think the wave of crappy made games was avoided. They were party games, but you seem to think I equate party with crap, I don't. Carnival Games was alot of fun.. then  came the sequel and clones that were crap. The few games at launch weren't even what I was talking about because they were quality games, it's when brands (like new carnival games, imagine, etc) and companies like destineer or conspiracy start jumping in next holiday season to shove out stuff as fast as possible with no quality behind them.

When I said nobody believed me, it's because when I brought it up people seemed to think that Kinect would never get anymore party games or clones at all. Many seemed to lash out and say it would only grow more "hardcorea" and become a tool for ways to make shooter games or cut em up games as if they were the only games that were good.  You got what I was saying a bit skewed, I never said those games were the only good games that existed.

Saying I equate party games with crap is just your assumption. Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports are examples of what party games should be on Kinect. Well polished mini games that actually work. Publishers known for putting out shit party games on Wii don't seem to be raising the bar with their titles on Kinect. Which is a shame because Kinect is arguably the best hardware ever for party games.

Once again, anybody following Kinect was expecting more party IPs and clones to come. Game Party and Deca Sports were launch titles. Motion Sports is typical garbage from Ubisoft. The amazing sales of Kinect would obviously appeal to those looking to cash out with crap software.
