Forums - Sony Discussion - Is NGP too big?

I've seen tons of threads on the power of the NGP. But people seem to be ignoring the fact that NGP is actually going to be bigger then the PSP. Now it doesn't appear to be all that much bigger but the PSP was already a hassle to fit in pockets and carry around. Is the NGP too big for standard carry around?

It's bigger then all of Nintendo's handhelds and I-Phone its so big that it will be a hell of a job to fit that thing in your front or back pocket. Is this going to be an issue for NGP, considering that handheld devices are always meant to be portable.

Hmm I always had theory that America hates PSP because they can't put it into jeans pocket while Japan doesn't care because PSP fits into suit pockets perfectly ;)

well il be putting it in a big or brief case. so no problem for me.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

it's actually only a bit bigger than the psp design, and that's cuz of the screen size which is something I actually prefer personally. It's not a problem, people never carried psp's in their pocket anyways, at least I didn't :S

It's actually thinner than PSP-1000, so, it's pocketable into shirt pocket. But the lenght is long, making it nearly half way outside the pocket.

This thing is even longer than the DSiXL.

see if i liked a console then i will buy it even if its have a few games and for the ngp size i read somewhere its a bit smaller than the psp 3000.

Well, Im still not certain that this will be the final design... but if big size would equel decent battery time, then Im all for it

Well. You can always wait for the PSP2 slim.

Are you making too many negative NGP threads?

Yes... Yes you are.

It's practically the same as the first PSP. It's bigger than most 'portable' devices but I think it's definitely NOT too big.
