But its happening. I mean, Ben-Ali's cabinet dropped before everything fell apart, and Mubarak has shuffled things around but that hasn't stopped anything yet

yeah rumors of resigning of presidency or not going to elect himself for the next presidency campaign. if he does the second the protests are going to continue and if he does the first i'm not sure but there will be celebrations.

The second is confirmed, as of now. He'll stay on, but not "run" for re-election

...or riots and mass confusion...I just don't see this going down well. I'm hoping for good outcomes for the people and as little violence as possible.
