Odd.

There is no way I'd buy The Orange Box on the PS3 or 360 regardless. The PC is where I grew up on that series, it's where I can best experience this series, and there is no way that's changing anytime soon.

Thx for the video post leo-j, but considering other sites like Gamespot and Gametrailers do stuff like this, its of no surprise to me.

Its also very odd that HL:2 would have any loadtimes, the game is old and not even the best looking game, and other games have very little to no load times. All the loadtimes that i have ever seen are always longer on the 360. I have played oblivion on the 360 and it has constant loadtimes no matter where you go, some of them are about 2mins long.

Halo3 always has crazy loadtimes, loading the forge or the theater take over 1min, while loading the campaign takes over 30sec. While PS3 games have almost zero loadtime.

There are still load times in Half-Life 2 and they've been reduced a whole lot since the game first came out on the PC. It's only like 10-15 seconds or so on my PC (even less if I'm loading quicksaves if I had made a wrong jump). Half-Life is only like two or three, lol.

Speaking of load times, I've been lucky to find Uncharted at the rental store. After that first load to get into the action, it's awesome how there are NO load times at all after that.

^Wait... a console game with graphic options? Now that's funny.

It is funny?  Bioshock and Mass Effect have a graphic option each, heh.

I think it's kinda funny because some console gamers use that hassle of finding the right settings as a weapon against PC gamers... obviously ignoring that console games have graphical settings since the Nintendo 64.

Yikes, those PS3 load times are atrocious. I thought the 360 was bad compared to HL2 on PC but daaaaamnnnn, the PS3 has it beat.

Try loading Doom 3 on a slow PC, you could impregnate your wife, raise the kid as a computer engineer and have him make you a quicker setup to save time before it's over...

The PS3 version has AA while x360 has none .It appears it has longer loading times and some frame rate drops compared to 360 version. Not a big deal,Oblivion had both problems coupled with worse texturing and way more bugs in the 360 version and 360 users didnt get so framerate-zealots about that. Most consumers dont notice so small things.

Yes, because we all know how a good framerate in RPGs is just as important as a good framerate in FPSs.
