Reports of Sickness from Playing FPS Games are TRUE!

Yes, I get dizzy/moton si... 31 20.67%

I used to get sick but have overcome it 12 8.00%

No, no problem for me 70 46.67%

I am sick of threads with hysterical titles 37 24.67%

Total:150

I often get dizzy when playing FPS. In fact, any FP game has this effect on me (but it used to be worse). I have also read many reports of people with similar problems. Quite often, they can't last 10 minutes before the motion sickness kicks in. And this is not something you can turn off or tone down.

So - are FPS games doomed? Last time I checked, they are doing better than ever... As you might have guessed by now, this isn't really about FPS, this is about the 3DS. Yes I am certain that some people will have problems with the 3D effect, same as some people still have problems with FP video games, but last time I checked, no threads proclaimed FPS doomed (at least not because of this effect on some people).

BTW, I voted for option 4.

playing with sensitivity on max level will sure cause sickness for some people.

But the main problems caused by video games is epileptic seizures

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

It may be the most severe problem, but I think percentage wise there are far more people with motion sickness. I just think that those who don't have it are not really aware how wide spread it is.

my GF gets sick everytime she gets a glimps of me playing FPS.... she harbors the idea of killing people virtually. Funny thing is that she has no trouble doing it irl... oh well...

Far from it, my wife has the same problem and at least 20 of my customers have already told me that they only play TPS just because of that problem.

Zones : I still don't understand all the love for Blizzard, what was the last game they developed worth playing?

I could understand it while playing Wii FPS or Operation Flashpoint on the PC.

I know more people that get dizzy from Ego-Shooters (or games from a ego perspective at all) than people that got dizzy from 3d cinema.

Is this some kind of response to disarm the 3DS sickness news?
