anyone that lives in japan, know if the Wii is still sellout?

Actually it is. Nintendo upped supply since today because it is still sold out. There wouldn´t be a reason to ship more units to Japan if it wasn´t sold out I think... we should see it next week.

@Kber81: 30k is still decent for a "second console" in Japan, so don´t worry. PSP will continue to sell good through 2007 and will probably reach the 10 million mark by 2010.

With Paper Mario being released, hard to believe demand will dry up within the next few weeks.

That's probably why Ninty held back this weeks shipment, saving up for that SPM launch next week

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

just 8 days til Paper Mario is released, then in another week Big Brain Academy is released.  With PS3 at 15k right now and no system sellers in sight, Sony could be in big trouble in Japan.  Wouldn't be suprised if Wii sales go up to 150k when Paper Mario is released while PS3 sales are still sitting at 15k.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

With the increased supply and the release of Super Paper Mario, I could see the Wii topping a 100k. 150k sounds like a bit of a stretch Johnsobas. I could be wrong. In fact, I wouldn't mind being wrong but I just don't see it happening.

I have heard about Wii "big" shipments in japan since the beginning of the week...

Anyone know about it ?

I don't think it is high, Wii has shown that it can sell 80k without any game being released, and even then it may have been supply constrained.  The 2 weeks that Paper Mario and Big Brain are released there should be a huge increase in supply.  You're right that it may not reach 150k, but 100k is too low if you ask me.

Sigh... I'm pretty disappointed. PSP back to 30k a week. Gundam failed to keep sale over 40k till FFT. Software around 100k is better than around 50k though. PSP doesn't exist in Japan without big titles. Actually only big games sell there. Even without hot titles DS sells a lot of soft. I don't know. It's weird. DS is poor... I've seen it on my own eyes...

Have you already seen the PS3 figures  Ah sorry that was really sarcastic, but you really throw dirt in my eyes with calling my DS like that
