I had a lot a fun with FF XIII, so I most likely will buy the sequel

weakest characters in any ff? thats a bit extreme considering in ff 1 and 3 the characters dont even talk (or very little, its been about 5 years since i played those).  let alone the fact they are merely referred to as the light warriors in ff1.  now maybe if you compare the characters to ff7-ff10 then i might agree with you.  and how is the battle system repetitive?  if i recall in every other ff theres has been around 4 basic category of moves with specified attacks in each category.  the truth is, the makers of this game went a little out of the boundaries of the typical final fantasy and so many people are afraid of change they are criticizing a very good piece of work.  besides, if its so bad, why dont you try getting a team of animators, programmers, voice actors, and the like to make the game that should have been ff13.

FFXIII wasnt the best but it also wasnt the worst.  I did enjoy playing it so yes i will pick up FFXIII-2.

Not sure if it'll be better but at least i know that Lightning looks cooler so im down lol

Sell worse, unless it doesn't have a shitty storyline that starts after 70% progression of the game.
I'll pick it up, I own every FF as well, so its hard to turn them away, even though it may suck. 

Very unlikely at best, I really did not enjoy FFXIII. To me, its like a gorgeous but stupid woman; good looking but with no depth (and thus, no value).

I will buy it on 360. Actually looking forward to it.
