IGN gave Mass Effect 2 a 9.6 on 360 and a 9.5 on the PS3...why?

Firstly, ME2 on the 360 released a Year ago. This will affect the expectations/hype.

Secondly, it's not the same reviewer (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Thirdly, IGN have changed the review scale they use. hey have gone from a scale that uses every Decimal point, to a scale that goes up by .5 each time.

When ME2 released on 360 IGN review system was anything from 0-10 including .4, .6, .9 etc. Since then IGN changed there review system to only have full numbers and .5 numbers such as 9, 9.5 etch. There is no more .6 for them.

If it makes you feel better IGN said in there review of the PS3 version, that it was better then the 360 counterpart.

Because it was a different person,can't expect everyone to have the same opinion.

And please,if this worries you too much then you shouldn't even be able to play games.Whenever they give the score it always says at the bottom a word that sums it up,it could be like good,mediocre,bad,excellent,amazing.

I think it says amazing with the ps3 review of mass effect 2,shouldnt that be enough for you?
