Forums - Sony Discussion - DC Universe selling out in EU? SONY increasing servers to meet demand.

The game won't have a lasting effect IMHO. In the 6 days since its release, I've already gotten one character to level 30 and collected the entire PVP Iconic battlesuit (they said these were VERY difficult to obtain, end-game items). Level 30 is currently reachable in as little as 24 hours. There are people who already have 3 or 4 level 30 characters, and the game hasn't been out a week.

There are virtually ZERO item vendors of any use. If you're level 13 and somehow lose your weapon, you're stuck buying a level 3 weapon and then going out and hunting for a new one.

Bosses always drop the exact same loot. If you get a purple item from a boss, you'll also get the same exact one the next 40 times you run that boss. No item variation.

Basically, there won't be enough content in the game to keep the average MMO player around for more than 3 months before they've literally done EVERYTHING and move on to a different game. Thank god for the first month free. If they don't do something about the massive amount of bugs and the lack of lasting content, most people won't ever pay for their first month.

Wonder if they're talking one version or both.  I'm sure the PC version has been pretty popular in countries like Germany.

The game just launched, more content will be added.
