It seems that the 360 was overtracked in NA by over 100k in Nov and another 100k in Oct (total 200k just for 2 months).
Also, Sony said the PS3 has been seeling 200k/week since the price cut and VGC clearly does not show up those large numbers, not until this last week. at least. Also according to this
It seems that Sony sold 400k in France and VGC shows way less (closer to 300k). Also MS said they sold 500k in France not long ago and they reaffirmed the same number on Dec. 13 on Les Echos newspaper.
So according to this it seems to me the PS3 might actually be over 7.5M right now while the 360 might be closer to 14M than actually over 14.5M like it shows.
When does VGC normally adjust their data? After earnings estimates? After press releases like MS did for Thanksgiving?
VGC was really fast adjusting their numbers for thanksgiving week right after the MS press release (looking back it would have been better not to since if you didn't you would have actually nailed 360 sales for November).
It would be nice to see the numbers adjustments based on all the new information sooner than later.
