Thanks. Good stuff. Cant wait for the game.
The storytelling is what I'm looking forward to in this game, so this vid just reinforced the bits I already knew I'd like.
Unfortuantely, I'm quite worried about the depth of the gameplay and specifically the battle mechanics. I really wanted the top-down strategic view to return for the PC version. Oh well, I'm sure I'm still going to enjoy it, it's Bioware afterall.
little off-topic but Hawke is voiced by the same guy that did Liquid Snake.
I'm gonna have lots of fun qouting the hell out of Liquid while playing DA2.
i posted this but the video didnt work.
i cant wait for da2 :)
Being in 3rd place never felt so good

They released a gameplay video a while back. You can still play DA2 like DA:O. You can pause the game a give strategic commands. It was a concern of mine too.

I know, but it lacks the top-down view because.... they want people to see the ceilings...
The top-down I felt made it easier to scope out the battlefield and place spells and traps strategically. Whilst the option to pause is still present and zoom out somewhat, I'll miss the RTS-like view. I'm sure Bioware will have a method of choosing spells and positions to compensate though.

Ah, I get what you were saying. Sorry, comprehension fail on my part.
