Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sniper: Ghost Warrior sequel confirmed Powered by CryEngine 3

Eurogamer

Polish developer City Interactive is working on a sequel to successful shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior.

Confirmation comes from a Eurogamer.se interview with chief producer Michal Sroczynski.

The game will be powered by Crytek's CryEngine 3 game engine, and will release on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

A release date and official title are yet to be revealed.

Last month City Interactive announced it was working on four FPS games, one of which, Eurogamer was told, "could be" Sniper 2.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior, already out for PC and Xbox 360, is due out on PlayStation 3 early next year.

I don't know about your definition of succesffull but for me selling over 800k pieces of game which had development budget of 250k euro is succesfull as hell.
