It should inch past it next week. Unless PS3 sales slip under 300k I can't imagine how it would be possible for the is to stay at less than half of the 360s sales.

I would pretty much just repeat exactly what TWRoO said.

Concidering PS3 is already 49.38% of 360 sales, all it has to do really is sell more than half of what 360 does this week to be over half the 360s sales.

They will reach half x360#s really soon, But gaining on that 7+ million gap is going to be a lot harder for them.

i'm not really sure what numbers you're looking at but on the front page i'm seeing: ps3-7.19M 360-16.29M

ps3 needs gain about 1M on the 360 to reach the 50% mark.  I'd guess late december/early january. 

Actually it's:

Wii -16.29M

360 -14.56M

PS3 -7.19M 

I think it's you that's having trouble reading.

Based on the average sales over the past four weeks, around last Wednesday

PS3 would have to take a mighty sales dive (drop by 120k units) or Xbox360 would have to have a massive sales leap (increase by 300k units) in order for it not to happen this week.

A more interesting question is when will PS3 hit half of Wiis numbers?
