Last time I checked the ps3 had a higher attach rate than the wii in the USA although only slightly. As far as it being bought as a blue ray play I totally agree. The ps3 gives people the choice to enjoy hi def gaming and hi def movies. You gotta view the situation not from one year but from a life cycle point of view.

The situation could change or stay the same depending on a number of factors over the next few years.

You complain about the casual party games but there you are with Rayman, Wario Ware and Sonic which has an all out party multiplayer mode... Someone needs to buy some new games... It's been well over a year now...
