Interesting. When I went looking for numbers, I saw numbers saying the DS line was at least 10 on a full charge, which I guess is more "real world" use than "peak use". Perhaps Nintendo should issue some "real use" estimates before everyone believes the 3DS is a major power hog.

I think it's the fact that the "Tag mode" that is putting the hurt on battery life TBH as that requires the WiFi to be on all the time which drains battery like there's no tomorrow, as long as you can turn that off then it will be all gravy.
